Comment by Anthony Scarlett on February 24, 2011 at 4:29pm He was awesome, a little crazy to say the least. If you let him run, there would be no drawer, cabinet, curtain or anything shiny unmolested. He was nutts!
My mother owned a country western bar in the early 80's & this old man would come in with a baby coon on his shoulder that he would give beer to all night. My mother talked him into selling the alcoholic coon to her. I remember hearing a noise in the bathroom the morning she brought him home. I opened the door to find a hung over, baby coon on the counter. I spent all morning curled up on the floor trying to get him to trust me, finally after hours of hissing he gave in, we became best friends after that morning.
Unfortunately I didn't spend enough time with him as we grew older & one night he tryed to pull my mom's kitten into his cage to play. We decided to let him go into the wild on Percy Priest lake. I like to think he lived a long happy life out there...
